Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using AaliClinic (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes with at least 14 days' notice. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 16 years old to use AaliClinic
• Users aged 16–17 require parental or guardian consent
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You may not create an account on behalf of someone else without their explicit consent

3. What AaliClinic provides

AaliClinic is a health education and navigation platform. We provide:

• AI-powered health information and conversation through Aali
• Educational content on women's health topics
• Doctor preparation scripts and hospital finder tools
• Curated wellness product recommendations
• Connection to healthcare professionals (tele-consultation, where available)

AaliClinic is not a medical service, hospital, clinic, or emergency service.

4. Medical disclaimer

In a medical emergency, call 112 (India emergency number) or go to your nearest emergency room immediately.

5. Your account

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• Notify us immediately at support@aali.clinic if you suspect unauthorised access
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to harm, harass, or threaten any person
• Submit false, misleading, or harmful health information
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy our AI system or content at scale
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose under Indian law
• Impersonate a healthcare professional or other person
• Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise our systems

Violations may result in immediate account termination and, where applicable, reporting to law enforcement.

7. Intellectual property

All content on AaliClinic — including the Aali persona, health articles, Doctor Prep scripts, design, and code — is owned by AaliClinic or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

Your content: Conversations you have with Aali belong to you. We use them only to provide the service and, in anonymised form, to improve our AI responses (only with your consent).

8. Premium & payments

AaliClinic offers a free tier. Premium features (when available) are billed monthly via Razorpay. By subscribing:

• You authorise us to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis
• You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period
• Refunds are issued at our discretion for unused periods within 7 days of charge
• Prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and include applicable taxes

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, AaliClinic is not liable for:

• Any health decisions made based on information from the Service
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service
• Service interruptions, data loss, or technical failures beyond our reasonable control

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or ₹1,000 if you are a free user).

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Profile Settings. We will delete your personal data within 30 days (except what we're legally required to retain).

We may terminate or suspend your access immediately if you violate these terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

11. Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
